Something

"Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. Don't be impressed with yourself. Don't compare yourself with others. Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life."
 -Galatians 6:4-5

I'm so glad I didn't delete this photo when I was culling my images from Ben and Amanda's shoot. There's just something about it. Something, I tell ya. Oh, and happy birthday (tomorrow), dad!

Love // Ben & Amanda

Ben and Amanda. Thanks for your patience this past weekend. Real troopers. Now go on with your biddie selves in Miami while we drool over your pictures. But don't think this is all - oh no, once I get my roll of film back, there WILL be more from their session. Enjoy!

One Way Or Another

People are put into our lives for a reason. And we all learn from each other one way or another. In my case, Ben and Amanda were put in my life for several reasons: 1) Keep me company while Anthony is away, 2) Remind me to invest in a fire extinguisher after the house almost catches on fire, 3) Practice my photography. They're great sports for being patient with me while I try to capture something memorable (and figure out my Contax...) Which by the way! I used this weekend on their shoot. This roll of film can either be good or bad. If bad, I'll be completely embarrassed...thank goodness I'll never meet the people who develop my film. But, we all have to learn one way or another

Bloedel Reserve

Weekend getaway to the Bloedel Reserve was a success...except for the coming-home-to-Molly's-"accident"-part, but I'll spare you those gruesome details. Instead, I'll let these beauties illustrate a cleaner image for you than Molly's accident would have.
